MY WHY as the CEO and Founder of Love HER Enough, I am the product of an abusive teen mother, an unknown absent father until a few years ago after a genealogy test, a sexual assault survivor and a dark-skinned girl raised in the 80s and 90s who was bullied and taunted throughout my developmental stages. I grew up not knowing my way or my place in life. I was that lonely girl. I was looking for love and to be loved in all the wrong places. I continued traveling down a very dark road all while putting a smile on my face to cover up my true feelings and emotions. At an early age, I knew that I wanted to be a part of a community or village that some young girl would need one day, as I wish I had or even my mother. I knew this was my calling. This is where God wanted me to be. I knew I wanted to establish a space where young girls can feel safe and free to be themselves. Where they can be encouraged, celebrated and supported in becoming the best version of themselves. So, I continued my education after high school and obtained my BS in Sociology with a concentration in Psychology and Criminal Justice, Master's in Business Administration and I am currently working on my Life Coaching certification. Back in 2022-2023 after finally deciding to go through my own healing process and journey of so many life adversities, from multiple deaths, post-partum, divorce, deep-rooted depression, anxiety, etc, I knew it was finally time for me to launch Love Her Enough. HER standing for HEALING, ELEVATING AND RISING to the occasion. We may know the names, but we don't know the stories that deserves to be heard to completely understand HER. I launched HER because I want Love HER Enough to be a shoulder to lean on, ears to listen, and a mouth to speak encouraging and empowering words to another young girl or woman.
